Alison Erickson
Artistic Director/Salon Owner
Our curly hair guru Alison has been behind the chair for over 20 years and has been specializing in curly hair for 15 of those years. She was Deva Curl certified in 2005, but over time has formed her own intuitive twist on the curly cutting technique. Alison has trained at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy in London and is also a certified Alfaparf colorist. She is very passionate and extremely creative with every head of hair she encounters, but what she truly loves most is bringing life and love to your curls.
In 2019, Alison decided to take the next step of making her dream of owning her own salon a reality and Untangled was born. Her dedication and love for all things hair helped her to survive and thrive during the 2020 pandemic.
Kate Turner
Hairstylist/Floor Coordinator
Kate's career began 16 years ago when she graduated from Capri Institute. She started as Alison's apprentice in 2006 and has worked closely with her ever since. Her creativity and attention to detail has taken her passion for the beauty industry beyond the chair. Over the years she has has ventured into other areas of different types of businesses learning a wide variety of useful skills that she is able to implement in her role here. Kate is a color specialist and is also Deva Curl certified. She created, designed and maintains our website, as well as managing all of our inventory. For the love of hair, she continues to educate herself with the latest techniques and trends, striving to always be the very best version of herself.
