Alison Erickson
Artistic Director/Salon Owner

Our curly hair guru Alison has been behind the chair for over 20 years and has been specializing in curly hair for 18 of those years. She was Deva Curl certified in 2005, but over time has formed her own intuitive twist on the curly cutting technique. Alison has trained at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy in London and is also a certified Alfaparf colorist. She is very passionate and extremely creative with every head of hair she encounters, but what she truly loves most is bringing life and love to your curls.

In 2019, Alison decided to take the next step of making her dream of owning her own salon a reality and Untangled was born. Her dedication and love for all things hair helped her to survive and thrive during the 2020 pandemic.

Kate Turner
Stylist / Floor Coordinator

Kate's career began 17 years ago when she graduated from Capri Institute. She started as Alison's apprentice in 2006 and has worked closely with her ever since. Her creativity and attention to detail has taken her passion for the beauty industry beyond the chair. Over the years she has has ventured into other areas of different types of businesses learning a wide variety of useful skills that she is able to implement in her role here. Kate is a Curly Hair Specialist carrying a certification from Deva Curl and has been trained by Alison as well. Working closely with Alison has given Kate the opportunity to learn all of her tips and tricks. For the love of hair, she continues to educate herself with the latest techniques and trends, striving to always be the very best version of herself.

Cassidy Abma
Stylist

Cassidy graduated from Artisitc academy of Hair Design. Her friendly personality brings a fun fresh feel to the Untangled atmosphere. Cassidy is a driven and ambitious stylist with a passion for helping people look and feel their best. Her artistic abilities are apparent in her highlighting, coloring and cutting, but they don’t stop there! Cassidy also does formal styling and makeup. She is certified in the Mizani Aircut and continues to learn new skills and techniques by continuing her education to keep up with the latest hair trends.
